Repopulating Islands & Other Biz

Whoop. Linking Up today with Ashley and Neely for the Sunday Social Link Up.
I love this link up. It's like I'm being interviewed....
by myself. I guess that's lame.
But still fun.
And plus, I think I'd be the best journalist interviewing myself anyways because I know exactly how to ask the questions to get myself to answer with the best possible answer.
So... it's legit.

6 Questions.
11.   If you were stuck on an island what are the two material items you would want to have?
Assuming the husband is with me, I would bring my bible and mascara/chap stick.

Husband—He most definitely has to be with me. Not only is he my best friend, my partner, and the man I love, he would also be super useful. He could comfort me in my sorrow of being stuck on an island {after the initial first few days of excitement at having a constant tan}. He could carry heavy things for me, like fishing nets, for all the fish we’ll catch, trees, for the houses we’ll build, and me when the sands too hot to walk on. Not only would he comfort me, keep me company, be someone to talk to & have fun with, but let’s be honest, there’s a lot of free time on an island and we could use that free time to do useful things together, like practice repopulating it.;)
Ya. Check out that awesome photo editing skills. Amazing.
I should probably be a designer.

My bible- I am totally not trying to be cliché or say the “right Christian answer” but I truly mean it. I would need it. Being stuck on an island would be spiritually exhausting, I’m sure. I would need the Word to remind me of God’s goodness, to memorize, to fight lies with, to seek God with. And it’s true, that the Word is living food. It is bread and water. It fills and energizes and breathes life. Not only would I need it, I’d want it. I’d want to read His words, to know Him more, to glorify Him more and to love Him more.

Chapstick / Mascara- This would be a super cool mascara/chap stick combo that never runs out.  Chap stick and mascara are obv answers. I’m gonna want some smooth lips & God knows tan faces always look better with some mascara.
And with all that repopulating practice, I’m gonna need this mascara/chapstick to step things up a notch.

2.What are two TV shows you’d watch over and over:
I seriously watch The Office over and over and over and over. There’s no stopping it. {That's what she said.}
The Office is the only show I do that with… but I also watch My Big Fat Greek Wedding, You’ve Got mail, Ever After and the Harry Potter movies over and over, but those are movies, so maybe they don’t count.
3.If your house was on fire what two things aside from family, pets, etc would you grab?
Assuming all our money & passports are in some fire proof safe, I’d grab our camera and computer, and if Z had his hands full, I’d grab his guitar for him.
4. What are your two most favorite articles of clothing?
This changes by the week. Currently it would be black leggings and this floral dress I’m loving.
5.What two movies that you saw in the past year would you recommend to us?

Life of Pi

                       The Hunger Games
{That may be a lame answer but I couldn't think of anything    else. And I've watched it like a dozen times. It grows on me each time.

6. What are your two biggest guilty pleasures?
                    Wine & The Office

What are your answers?!
I'd love to read them!

I'm cracking up at your chapscara, but thinking....."Hey, you just may have an idea there..." I love that you put your Bible...I did too, and for exactly the same reasons! Lord knows there will be some doubt, fear, etc. going on in my heart and I'd need my armor! Not to mention, all those Bible stories would be entertaining. Enjoyed your post & hope you have a great week!
