Baby Jedi's Sower

A few weeks ago our close friends, Trent & Angie, had their little baby boy, Jedidiah. Trent & Angie are so special to us. We were close friends in China & met at our house church there 2 years ago. They quickly became near & dear to our hearts & we love the fact that they have a house in San Antonio, just an hour away. They moved back this summer & knowing that they were coming home made leaving China a little easier for us. We wish we could bring all of our friends & students from China to Texas! It’s such a blessing for us to be able to be so close &  share special moments with them, like their baby shower. We felt so blessed to be there! They feel like part of our family & we cherish these times together, meeting their family & loved celebrating with them!

Trent’s mother rented out a clubhouse in their neighborhood & put a shower together for them. They had a cute monkey theme. The shower was a combo “coming home” & baby shower, as many of their friends had yet to see them since they got home from China. It was great meeting their close friends & family.

I didn’t get to attend Angie’s baby shower she had in China because we had already come home but it was amazing! Catherine did such a great job with it! The theme of her shower in China was bees. Catherine drew this beautiful Bee Hive for all Trent & Angie's guest to place a thumb print "bee" on. I loved how there were thumbprints from China & from home. 

 
 The theme of their baby shower was, as you can see, monkeys! The club house was decorated with cute monkey decorations. I loved how Trent's mom had this cake made with a cute collector cross on it. I know Angie will use it as a decoration in the future & always remember this special day.

 

After they opened lots of presents, had cake & lots of laughs & hugs with their loved ones, we had an impromptu photo session. I love how these sweet pictures turned out. After the photos, we all cleaned up the place then headed to their house & dinner together.

Congratulations on your sweet baby boy, Trent & Angie! We LOVE you guys & know you will make the most amazing parents! Jedidiah is a blessed boy! And now, we’re all extremely blessed, too, because Jedidiah is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE YOU baby boy!
