Zachary's college roommate turned 31 just a week or so after Zachary. His beautiful wife threw him a fun surprise party and we were invited! We were thrilled to be able to help celebrate him and be apart of the surprise! Halley, Mark's wife, had him blindfolded and clueless as to what his evening would entail. She had already given him a fun-filled week of surprises so "surely he wouldn't be on his way to a surprise party," he must have been thinking!

Haley and the host, Leslie, (who in a small world coincedence just happened to be the same Leslie I went to school with since Elementary school!) decorated the house with a fun foot ball theme, had pictures of Mark up and made adorable DIY lawn games for everyone to play.

Haley drove up with Mark in the car and we all waited outside for them. As he opened the door, we all stood super quiet until he reached up to take off his blindfold. We then, of course, let out a loud "Surprise!" He was very surprised and full of smiles.

Thirty-One! Whoop, Whoop!
The girls had also set up a Photo booth which we made great use out of!

We took our pics with our phones, which made for some blurry photos, but you get the gist.

After snacking on some delicious sliders, S'mores and utilizing the photo booth, everyone funneled there way to the backyard and we played several rounds of "Psychologist." It was awesome and we couldn't stop laughing. It made me feel like I was in college again, in a good way.

This morning we met friends & family that live in the area, & that could make it, for brunch at El Monumento in Georgetown. We love the ambiance of this restaurant & thought it would be the perfect place for a big group to meet. Zachary's birthday is officially the 28th but since we'll be going to see his family next weekend we decided to celebrate with my family this weekend. El Monumento is right on the San Gabriel river so they have nice views of the water, great outdoor seating & a great atmosphere. They also have some pretty good food & drinks!

Zachary & I ordered the Mexican Benedict & the Skillet Ranchero with chorizo & split it. We also got french presses which were filled with the best coffee ever! That probably had something to do with the fresh cream they served along side it but whatever it was, it was good & has me dreaming of spending mornings there.

This year we are so excited to be home for our close friends and families' birthdays! We were so happy to celebrate Zachary's fathers' 56th birthday this year! The last birthday we celebrated in person with him was his 51st! Geesh, that's way too long ago, right?!
Dallas had some snow this March (his birthday month) so we had a nice white birthday for him. :) I loved that. :)
For his birthday we got him a beginner bow & a target. Zachary was so excited to give it to him, he gave it to him the morning of his birthday instead of waiting until that night like everyone else did. haha. Like a little kid!

For his birthday dinner we went to

This was ammmmmazing. I want it right now.
By the end of dinner the snow was melting. Noooo!
In the Mosby house birthdays are a big deal. They go all out, as you can see.

No shirts, a cozy blanket, a watch, fishing gear, the present list goes on and on.
Besides for his bow & arrow, we also got him a Yeti cup. My brother and future sister in law rave about these things! They say they keep things hot or cold for 12 hours plus.

After the candles were blown out, the cake was had & the presents were opened Zachary had a "surprise" planned for his daddy.
Egg Roulette! And Water War. He got both ideas from the Jimmy Fallon show.
